Renovation and refurbishment

Renovation is the one form of building work that cannot be priced completely from a drawing, because the condition of what lies behind the plaster is not known until the building is opened up. Our practice is to open up, show the client what has been found, and agree the cost of the additional work before it is carried out rather than afterwards.

We undertake barn conversions, the renovation of farmhouses and period homes, and the return of commercial buildings to use.

Where a property is listed or stands within a conservation area, the work is handled by our restoration team.
